Privacy policy

Visitor statistics without cookies

To know which readings are useful, we count page views, the time a page stays open on your screen, the website you came from (for example Google or YouTube) and your country. The country is estimated by our hosting provider from your IP address.

We do not use cookies for this and we do not store your IP address. To count each visitor only once per day, your IP address and browser type are combined with a secret key that changes every day and turned into a code that cannot be reversed. These codes are deleted after two days. We cannot use them to identify you.

Reading feedback

When you answer “Did this reading resonate with you?”, we save your answer together with a random code stored in your browser (local storage), so you can change your answer later. Your answer is not linked to your name or any account.

Google Analytics

With your consent (where the law requires it), we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC, to better understand how the site is used. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and collects information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your device and your approximate location. This data may be processed by Google in the United States.

You can accept or refuse at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy

YouTube videos

Videos are embedded in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When you play a video, YouTube (Google) may collect data according to its own privacy policy.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. and our database by Supabase Inc., with servers in the United States.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the LGPD in Brazil), you have the right to access, correct or delete your data and to object to its use. Because our own statistics do not identify you, we usually cannot link them to you. You can delete the data stored in your browser at any time in your browser settings.
